Bath is a great
place to live. I was a resident here for 10 years!
The downtown is unique with its brick sidewalks and quaint
shops.
You'll love the library and town park. The library was
recently enlarged, it has a beautiful reading room. There is
lots going on in Bath presently. The new Sagadahoc bridge
has been completed and BIW has enlarged.
Bath
is also home to the Maine Maritime Museum where you can learn
all about Maine’s maritime history. The museum offers
many exhibits and educational programs, narrated boat cruises
and also has an historic shipyard.
The city of Bath
has been voted one of the best 100 small cities to live in
in the United States. Two years in a row!
Bath has approximately 10,000
people and consist of 2 sections called Bath and North Bath. It
is 3 miles long and a 1/2
mile wide all on the western shore of the Great Kennebec River. It
has a long tradition of Shipbuilding and offers a lovely combination
of old historic homes, quaint downtown area and lots
of access to the mighty Kennebec for recreation. North Bath is
quite rural and is the home of the Bath Country Club.
