Although the downtown and Cooks Corner
areas have relatively dense housing, Brunswick has its share of suburban
and rural housing. "Starter" homes begin in the 80's and homes
in the most exclusive areas go for 300K and above. Waterfront areas can
and usually are more.

Brunswick stands out from its
neighbors by relatively strict zoning laws that provide for
"green space", recreation and wooded areas
for each subdivision. The green space to the left is an example. |

The bottom line for Brunswick is this--
if you are interested in moving to mid-coast Maine, Brunswick is clearly
the center of the arts, shopping, commerce, education and family
activities.
