The relationship between the civilian community, the base and military members and their families are outstanding. It has been this way since NASB was commissioned in the forties. Many career military members retire here to take advantage of our great outdoors, fresh air and great way of life.

The mid-coast Maine area offer neighborhoods in all price ranges with lots of styles and sizes. Topsham and Brunswick especially are very organized in terms of programs for children and schools. The recreation departments are big and offer lots of different activities to get involved in.

And, there's the normal items you'd expect from a military base. A commissary, an active MWR department and superb educational opportunities linked with outstanding community facilities make a mid-coast Maine lifestyle hard to beat.
