Some interesting areas off the beaten path

Topsham's proud public library, located near the historic district.

Bike/walking path along US-1 and the
Androscoggin River. A very popular place for people of all ages.

A great Topsham quality of life feature is sitting on the deck of the Seadog
Restaurant and Microbrewery and soaking in the beautiful Androscoggin River that you are literally sitting above. You'll love the atmosphere,
the eagles and the rushing river.

Topsham
living means
a small town of under 10,000, living near slightly larger towns and having commuting
access to Augusta, Portland and the Lewiston/Auburn area. Topsham homes
can be found in groups or alone on quiet back roads. They are generally well kept, and
neighborly.
Topsham is home to the Highlands, a large retirement complex with a wide range
of services from independent to assisted living. The Highlands complex contributes
significantly to the town tax base with minimal burdens on services.
When I take people for a ride through Topsham, they are often surprised at the
diversity and quiet beauty that this town has to offer.
Even though Topsham may not have
the shopping, arts and activities of Brunswick, remember that Brunswick
and Topsham are neighbors. A 5 - 10 minute ride will bring you all the
benefits of Brunswick, while keeping the friendly and quiet lifestyle of
Topsham.
